If it does not then you need to open your WiFi settings on the phone and connect to the 'AndroidAP' network that it has created. The phone may connect to the network automatically. Once the Bluetooth is connected, the head unit will start sharing it's WiFi hotspot. Check that the CarPlay slider is enabled, you should get a prompt in the meantime asking if you would like to use CarPlayĤ. To check the CarPlay function tap the (i) shown on the connected device on your phone. After you are connected, make sure the CarPlay function is turned on. Open your iPhone Bluetooth settings and connect to the device GOCSDK, the name will vary between different units.ģ. Open the Zlink/Multiplay app (The app may look different but the function is the same)Ģ. To start, make sure the WiFi on your iPhone is ON and NOT connected to any WiFi network.ġ. Please connect your head unit to the internet and then open the Zlink/Multiplay app to activate it. To connect your iPhone to CarPlay, you first need to open the Zlink/Multiplay app which will allow your phone to connect to your head unit via bluetooth & mobile hotspot.īefore trying to connect your phone for the first time, the app needs to be activated which requires an internet connection.
